Time After Epiphany

Williams Bay Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located at the corner of Congress and Collie Streets in the village of Williams Bay.

Visitors are expected! All are welcome to join us in Worship and are invited to receive Holy Communion. We believe that forgiveness is a free gift in the Body and Blood of Jesus. Hearing Assistance is Available.

Morning Prayer Worship: Morning Prayer Service resumes on January 7, 2018.
The service begins with the Announcement of the Day followed by the Morning Prayer setting "Come Let Us Sing for Joy".

Traditional Worship: Follows the Traditional ELCA Lutheran Worship using the Red hymnals.

Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – in our congregations, across this church, and with our Lutheran family around the globe – we commemorate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.


Grace Notes:

Williams Bay Lutheran Church's Annual Meeting

  • The annual meeting will be on January 28th, after the 9:30 a.m. service. Following the meeting will be a potluck.

Giving Statements

  • The 2017 Giving states are now available on the back table. If you have questions, please contact Judy.

Sunday Morning Evangelism Class

  • We have started on our new book: Tell it Like it Is: Reclaiming the Practice of Testimony by Rev. Lillian Daniel.
  • We meet at 11:00 am on Sunday morning in the Hearth Room.  All are welcome.

Homeless Shelter Ministry

  • This year we will be helping out Chapel on the Hill with their men's homeless shelter ministry.
  • The next week that they need help is Sunday, Februrary 25th to March 4th.  Contact Pastor Tom or Claus if you would like to help.

Youth Education

  • Sunday School is during the 9:30 a.m. service. Students are dismissed from the service at 9:45 a.m.

Sally’s Circle Handwork Group

  • Sally's Circle will meet on January 30 at 7:00 p.m..
  •  The book is “Mistress Bradstreet” by Charlotte Gordon. See Mary Mock with any questions.
