Williams Bay Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located at the corner of Congress and Collie Streets in the village of Williams Bay.

All are welcome to join us in Worship and are invited to receive Holy Communion.  We believe that forgiveness is a free gift in the Body and Blood of Jesus.

Morning Prayer Worship: The service begins with the Announcement of the Day followed by the Morning Prayer setting "Come Let Us Sing for Joy".

Traditional Worship: Follows the Traditional ELCA Lutheran Worship using the Red hymnals.

Lenten Service: We will use the liturgy “Holden Evening Prayer”.
During the five Wednesday Lenten services, Pastor Tom will be giving short message's on Martin Luther's The Small Catechism. A copy of the Lent devotions, based on Luther's Small Catechism, is on the table in the narthex.


Grace Notes:

Soup Suppers during Lent
  • We are having Soup Suppers before the Wednesday Lenten services from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 pm..  Everyone is invited to come together after a busy day to share a simple meal of soup and bread in the Fellowship Hall before the 7:00 p.m. Lenten Worship service.
  • There is a sign-up sheet on the narthex table if you wish to help or provide soup for an evening.  WELCA is coordinating this, please contact Carol
    Choyce or Sheila Lundin.
Adult Bible Study
  • Adult Bible Study on Sunday, March 19th, we will discuss chapter six: “Christian Spirituality and the Church”.
Reformation 500
  • In celebration of the church’s 500 year anniversary of the reformation, October 31, 2017, we will be looking at what it means to be “Lutheran” this coming year. To kick off this celebratory year, please join Pastor Tom in a study on Lutheran spirituality and prayer. We will work through the book: A Graceful Life: Lutheran Spirituality for Today by Lutheran professor, Bradley Hanson. All are welcome to join the class.
Easter Lily Orders
  • Easter Lily Order forms are available now and you can get one by clicking here or in the bulletin for the next few weeks. Orders are due April 9th.
Sally's circle
  • The next meeting of our handwork/book group is March 28th. The book is "Ordinary Grace" by William Kent Krueger. See Cheral Sadler or Mary Mock with any questions about our group.
Youth Education
  • Sunday School is during the 9:30 a.m. service and students are dismissed for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m..
  • Confirmation class is weekly from 3:55 p.m. until 4:40 p.m.
